Well, the creative juices were flowing tonight. Eight ... yes eight new captions tonight. Unfortunately, I may not be able to post any new captions until the second week of July. The good news is that I'm going on vacation; the bad news is ... wait. I'm going on vacation. There is no bad news.

So I think I've managed to make a handful of decent captions so far. I've pretty much figured out how to use the software so now I can worry about the images and the caption without trying to fight the computer. Anyway, how am I doing? Do you like the sort of captions that I'm making? Do you like the photos that I've picked? What sorts of things would you like me to try next?

So this is the first part of what I hope will turn into a longer series. I may even try my hand at a story for Fictionmania. Anyway, the basic idea is the usual mad scientist who runs a TG lab ... but he hasn't quite perfected his formula. Some caps in the series will be of his successes and various product offerings. Other caps, like this 4-parter, will highlight some of the doctor's ... um ... unexpected results.

Now that I've posted a handful of captions and have gotten at last a small bit of confidence in how to run a blog, I decided to take the next step and try to actively become a part of the captioning community.

For starters, I'm now following some of the blogs that I've included in my blog list. I guess that I was always a bit nervous about following other blogs; I'm not sure why. Oh, well. I just picked a small group to start with. I'll try to follow many of the rest of the those blogs soon.

Anyway, now to see if anyone will follow my blog or leave comments for any of my captions.
