How Do You Say Goodbye to Your Pet?

Looks like tomorrow, I'll be putting my pet to sleep. We've been best friends for a long, long time ... but the time has come. He is clearly in too much pain to continue and the look in his eyes says that he knows that the time has come. Somehow, he seems much stronger than I am. I try to hold back the tears for his benefit, but I know that he knows.

Sounds like your pet has lived a long happy life.
I went thru the same thing 2 years ago when my dog of 16.5 years passed. She had a long happy life and that's what I remembered on the day of her passing. Of course I was upset losing my best friend in the world but she was happy all her life and never had to endure pain.
My heart is with you honey (((hugs)))

  2. I don't have an easy answer but if you can take your friend out for one last ride in a car with the top down and the windows rolled down. Then stop at McDonald's and order them a double cheeseburger. It's like a last cigarette for a dog. Their is no easy way to say goodbye to a pet you love, be strong and be thier for your pet, just like they have for you over all these years.

  3. We cooked our dog a steak and let him have it. I have a friend who is a vet tech and they said the most important thing you can do it stay with your pet after they do the injection. Their world gets smaller and they start looking for the person they trust, Stay with them till they goto sleep.

  4. You love them, talk to them, and most importantly hold them to the end.

  5. I'm so sorry to hear this, they are such a big part of our lives and whether we know it or not our world revolves around them...they are family! Stay with your best friend until the end and make him feel the love until he shuts his eyes, talk to him let the last thing he hears be the voice that he listened for all these years
It's so hard to say goodbye, they give us unconditional love and that's special!
It's so unfair that their lives are so short while we live on with just the memories...
You have my deepest sympathy and I'm very sorry for your loss.

  8. I'm amazed how you are able to collect all the these pictures of, TS, trannies, she-males and sissies and the sexual acts. Put it all together. It's like putting a newspaper together everyday. I enjoy the ones where guys become gals. I'm almost there. Hope to be a real woman someday.
