When the Grocery Is Out of Bimbo Juice

  1. All of your labels are just tg which is already the whole point and non descriptive and redundant. But more importantly you don't label anything. So there's no way to find anything and virtually no label. Could you please make labels actually useful? It's like you're just labeling every type of soup, "soup" open the can to find out what kind. Please?

  2. I'm torn in how to respond to your comment. On one hand, I like getting comments, whether praise or criticism. It tells me that people are at least looking at my captions. On the other hand, while I like constructive criticism, I'm not a big fan of complaints. No "Gee, your captions are great, but..." or "Thanks for taking the time to make all these captions, but..." Nope. Just, "non descriptive and redundant" and not "actually useful".

I've tried to use labels. I do so on Tumblr (at least since earlier this year). But labels aren't as easy as you might think. It takes time to go through a list of labels and see which might apply. To be honest, that might be the part of creating captions that I like least. Here, I almost only use the "TG" and "Blog" labels (the latter for posts that aren't captions, usually). I kinda wish that I had the time to label my captions (and I think I talked about trying to go back and label old captions a long time ago, but the project was just too daunting, so I didn't bother).

If you want to take the time to go through my posts and suggest labels, I'd probably be willing to take your suggestions and apply those labels (or at least the ones that seem appropriate).

But... (and I think I'm speaking for many content creators), just a small bit of gratitude and appreciation goes a long way when the real goal is to complain about something that we put a LOT of time into and which you get for free.
